Admission Process

STEP 1

Explore UCC

We invite families to learn more about UCC by registering for one of our Fall Open House events on October 27 or 28, submitting an inquiry form or attending an event.

STEP 2

Complete Your Application

Create or log into your UCC account. (Only the candidate’s parents/guardians can legally create an account and submit an application. Those wishing to submit an application on behalf of a family should contact the Office of Admission at admission@ucc.on.ca.)

Click the application form button. You can save your progress at any time and return to complete your profile later. Before submitting, please check that all fields are complete as you won’t be able to edit the information once it’s been submitted.

Once your application form has been processed, you can log back in to submit supporting documents and the teacher reference form, available in your admission checklist.

* We accept applications until December 1, however the application fee is $200 until November 1 and $300 until December 1.

STEP 3

Sign Up For an Online Academic Assessment and Group Activity

Online Assessment

We ask that all applicants complete an online academic assessment, focusing on language and math skills.

These assessments take place online on the following dates and times:

Tuesday, November 10 at 9 a.m.
Wednesday, November 18 at 9 a.m.
Tuesday, November 24 at 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday, December 8 at 2:30 p.m.

The assessment will have questions with the following format:

  • Select the word that is closest in meaning to the bold word.
    ANXIOUS
    A) Worried
    B) Brave
    C) Sleepy
    D) Cheerful
  • Look at the relationship between the first two numbers, then choose the number that completes the pair in the same way.
    [3 → 6]      [7 →14]      [9 →___]
    A) 11
    B) 12
    C) 18
    D) 27

Sign Up for a Group Activity

We ask that all applicants complete a group activity. These activities take place in person, on campus, on selected Saturdays in November and December (see below). Candidates who reside outside of Toronto can complete their group activity online. Please contact the Office of Admission if this applies to you.

Saturday, November 7
Saturday, November 28
Saturday, December 5

STEP 4

Participate in an Interview Session

Upon receipt and review of all required documents, selected candidates will be contacted to arrange an interview, which includes a student interview and a parent/guardian interview.

This conversation allows us to learn more about a prospective student’s areas of strength, needs, potential for success and alignment with UCC’s values. It also provides parents and guardians with a deeper understanding of UCC and the experiences that we offer.

We encourage families who reside outside of Ontario to contact the Office of Admission before booking travel arrangements. If the parent or guardian requires language or translation support, please advise the Office of Admission during interview scheduling.

Final admission decisions will be shared on February 26, 2027.
